Have you ever tried to find an industrial ice maker from an Australian manufacturer?
Well we have and it’s not an easy thing to do.
There are only a couple of firms in Australia that make industrial ice makers and we didn’t feel comfortable doing business with any of them. They were all too expensive and/or had low or patchy quality.
Above all else they all seemed to lack the sufficient backup expected when purchasing such an expensive piece of capital equipment.
Necessity dictated we had to find a solution so we did. We started to make our own.
With assistance from our USA partners we can now offer a complete range of large shell ice makers built for Australian conditions. We source Artic Temp ice maker evaporators from Holiday Ice in Florida USA. There is a complete range available from 900kg up to a massive 9 tons of ice making capacity every 24 hours.
The Artic Temp ice makers are all stainless steel construction, with minimal moving parts and are easy to clean and maintain. They can be skid mounted together with the condenser if required and most parts of the ice maker come with a 5 year warranty.
We match the Artic Temp units with superior Australian delivered Kirby Titan condenser unit as supplied from Australia’s largest refrigeration equipment manufacturer, Heatcraft Australia. Our ice makers are rated up to an ambient temperature of 42 degrees Celsius.
These are the same units that have been used on our da-ice vending machines for nearly a decade. We stock all the spare parts for the ice makers and condenser spares are available from Heatcraft branches all around Australia.
